it doesn't open shortcuts inside a folder. Can you fix this?

Zokess:

Love the rocketdock, love the stacks docklet, at least on my XP puter @ work....not so much on my Vista puter @ Home. Worka fine "as advertised" in XP, in Vista however, the Stacks Docklet keeps the name of the folder it is set o open, but does not keep the selected Icon or the Path to the folder. Help Please!!!

DanWoodbury:

i cannot get this to work at all, when i start the docklet it just brings up that icon with the arrow pointing down, cant seem to work out what to do with it

kaizer_soze:

Very beautiful and useful .....Thanks, Dude !!!

istauri:

Can't get it to save the docklet settings.
resets itself whenever rocketdock is restarted. any advice/fixes?

Wulfeman:

Usage:

Right click on dock, select Add Item, then Stack Docklet.

Right click on the new icon, select Icon Settings... .

Choose folder, and some nice looking icon. Mode not implemented yet, wait for next release.

Click OK, now click the icon and enjoy ;-)

smejkal:

i am totaly lost i cant even open it its comfused.can youu help me?

herveo:

I apologise for my english, I'm not native ;-)
This docklet is THE doclet ! Thanks a lot !!!!
for those who are not abble to save their settings under vista here is one trick :
You may notice that the "save settings in file.ini" do not work in Rocketdoc under vista because of the UAC.
If like me you aren't so worried just go to the directory where rocketdoc was installed, make a right clic over it and assign all right for your user account in the property/security tab ... the settings will now be saved.
to be continued ....

herveo:

... continueing ;-)

To use Stack Docklet as KKmenu but with more "panache" under vista just :
1 create a folder named "personnal menu" (for example) under the program files/rocketdock directory (remember to check if this new folder has permission rules for your user account as above)

Then you'll have to turn on the ability to show hidden folders in your vista magma settings ;-)

Then create any sub folder you want i the way to organise your stacks. IE i'he made a folder named "Office" an other "Graphics" ....
after that you'll have to go either in User/yourname/Apdata/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/start
menu/programs or in programdata/Microsoft/windows/start menu/program and make a COPY of the links you want to group in the persponalized folder you made above.

In fine, with stacks doiclet you select the sub folder you want and get funny paramatrable links for your softwares !

Tasty is'nt it ?

HerveO

smejkal:

ok i will try it again lucie

smejkal:

oh and is here anybody who speaks czech?please lucie

Dj TweeX:

Ok so how come i cant make a thing for my computer??

smejkal:

grungemaniac:

grungemaniac:

Also i have problems when i start my computer (i have vista). It only appears the icon with the point narrow down. Can anyone solve these?, thanks.

jlfarfan:

This is a MUST HAVE docklet. AWESOME!!!. I have all my folder icon changed to "stacklets". The best location to install Rocketdock is in the Documents folder. This way you can open applications shortcuts inside the stacks.

FEELING:

Everybody is good:
Is really embarrassed I is a novice, is not the native, understands these writing a little to be for me difficult! I now am with the translation software with everybody exchange, the grammar to please should not be possibly containing!

I did not know how to operate installs this software, but I really likes this software, the plea transmission installment detailed truncation chart, or video frequency to mine mailbox! May? Unusual thanks!
PS:RocketDock has installed!

doomjr:

I didn't think it was possible for rocket dock but you made it can be! Very Useful! This is my favorite Docklet! ^_^ BRAVO!

halofreeek:

hey! I NEED HELP I CANT GET IT DOWNLOADED.CAN YOU HELP?

beetle:

I have the same problem mentioned here a few times. I'm a Mac user, so I got this to make Vista a little more familiar.

Every time the computer restarts, the settings for this docklet are lost and I only get the default icon (with the down arrow). All settings for individual shortcuts using this docklet are lost.

Any ideas? This is a really cool app, but it's just not usable as it is... not on Vista anyway.

beetle:

Might have been a little premature on the whole "why isn't it working post".

For those of you who are having the problem where the stacks will return to default empty stacks every time you restart, right-click on the dock, choose "Dock Settings..." and then make sure "Store settings in a portable INI (single user)" is selected.

There's a more complicated fix for it, but this should do the job.

otakutron:

WoW!!! Excellent, thanks :)

Urge:

This makes Rocketdock *even better!* If you don't download this addon, you will miss out on a portion of Rocketdock's functionality.

Orgies:

Just great !!! Thanks !

F3N!X:

I don't like the fan view so much, but the grid one looks so professional. Now that KkMenu provides me my start menu and my systray, since Stacks gives me near all the rest grouped in some easy-to-use links folders, I needed to entirely remove my Taskbar. But safely as I know Windows is touchy. Here is the page of the guy who did it. It's the ideal complement. Now I've got only 11 docks as all is grouped with Stacks so my RocketDock bar is little enough to let some free space left for my yahoo! widgets "sidebar", and I've removed my Winshit taskbar. I even don't see it reappearing at startup. so cool! So many devs to thank for that. Including matonga and all the Stacks team.

Try the taskbar remover here, it's a freeware too:
http://kanebt.wordpress.com/2008/04/05/remove-xp-taskbar-start-menu-a-simple-program/

srhintz:

I had trouble installing but figured it out. Try this for XP: Take the folder with the two downloaded files and put them in [Programs/Rocketdock/Docklets] just like the clock docklet looks. Then go to your dock on the desktop, right click anywhere and select [Add Item/Stack Docklet]. It creats a gray little dropdown arrow icon. Right click on that and select [Icon settings]. Choose a folder (by clicking the little [...] button), give it a different icon, select grid or fan and you are off. I couldn't figure out how to change existing folders but it is easy enough to redo them. Let me know if this was helpful or if there is a better way.

??????:

Thank you this is very butifful

pauerbach08:

FIX THIS!!!
Won't save any of the settings when I close RocketDock. It turns back into the little arrow thing and doesn't go to any folder.

gennath:

To add:
Copy files to: C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Docklets\Stackdock
Righ click on dock and choose "Add Item" and then "Stack Docklet"

Daemonblade:

Good idea but this docklet doesn't seem to work as it doesn't remeber any settings after the computer has been rebooted.

pauerbach08:

exactly! now somebody get to it! I wish this would work.

Daemonblade:

In the end I got rid of rocketdock and installed the free version of Objectdock. Stacks works perfectly now, must be rocketdock thats not upto running on vista properly either that or stacks was designed to work on objectdock. I like object dock a lot more.

samir:

HI I believe this stack will be wonderful but i have no idea how to install it. I downloded the file and open it with WinRAR but didnt see any setup can anybody tell me how to install it on Xp. I cant wait to use it... Thanks

DmitryLitvin:

WOOOWW! COOOOL!!!! I dreamt of such thing :D

illbrat:

Amazing!, Completes the concept of having a docklet. Can't wait for any improvements or updates whatever that might be.

BEP-SB:

It's great, but... I think you should add a "mouseOff" control. Maybe even a "mouseOver".

Thank you for the great work, anyway

qzy0100100110:

The solution to the Missing Settings is quite simple. I am sure that I read it somewhere. Anyway here is it:
Go to the folder where you installed RocketDock, such as "c:\program files\rocketdock".
right click and select properties
click security tab
click advanced
click edit
select a user and then click edit, check the full control - allow checkbox
and then repeat it on every object name,
click ok until there're no more windows
and then reboot...
voila the settings aren't lost!

blues.soldier:

this is amazing!!!! also i agree with BEP-SB, maybe a mouseover would be more convienent. besides that i love it

Rasmus:

Hello all. i cant get where to put this download when i have it on my computor. do someone know where to put the file? plzz help me??

so C:\ ??????

een724:

This is just soooooo cool and awesome! Thank you matonga! I highly recommend this for anyone using RocketDock and want to expand the coolness of RocketDock with each of their file folders on it!!! I use XP Home and I had absolutely no problem with using it. I just followed srhintz's instructions and it worked like a charm!!! Thanks!

mav1094:

Does this thing work completely now like the settings after reboot or showing shortcuts in folder please tell me i dont want to screw up something new i just found

jeka:

For those of you who are having the problem where the stacks will return to default empty stacks every time you restart, right-click on the dock, choose "Dock Settings..." and then make sure "Store settings in a portable INI (single user)" is selected.
But this file doesn't exist. So, you have to create "Settings.ini" in RocketDock folder by yourself.
next you have to work with properties:
right click and select properties
click security tab
click advanced
click edit
select a user and then click edit, check the full control - allow checkbox

p.s. it works perfectly under Vista :)

mav1094:

how do create the settings.ini file

mav1094:

and where does it go because i did jeka's directions and the docklet went back to default nd another question how do you make the custom clock icon stay after reboot?

dlizz_24:

i love it and this application is really nice......

Twiz:

this is defiantly the best dock ever!!! it works on vista too

mav1094:

Found out the custom clock icon question but PLEASE answer my question about how creating, and location of where its suppost to be place!!! Please its a awesome docklet but its annoying always having to reset the prefences every time the computer reboots or if u cancel then open up RocketDock again. ANYBODY JUST PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER!!!!!

MAx Power:

great thing..
very easy to install with this posts...
thx for it

studiocircus:

for mav1094

start with administrator rights before any customization or install rocketdock over \program files folder

ido_51:

Thanks!!
Works great!!!! =]

dmg982:

Hey everybody, can anyone help i am using windows xp and everytime I reboot I lose all my settings and doclets and icons is there anyway to save my settings its getting really annoying.

To ido_51: either jeka is wrong or tis method doesnt work because i've tried.

Please someone give me a strait answer. Matonga or the Devs of Rocketdock should really explain how to or fix tis problem. If anyone knows how nd it works please give step by step directions on the comments, my deviant page http://maikeru-sama.deviantart.com/ . Or my email maikeru1094@yahoo.com

Indisent:

Hello,

This docklet works great so far. I have a few questions though.

1. Some of the icons show the .exe at the end of the name. Can i cusotmize the names? For example; instead of winword.exe can i just make it say word?

2. The icons are the default icons. Can i customize the icons for the apps in the docklet folder?

Thanks

AaronCompNetSys:

I have been waiting for a docklet like this for years. It works great.

Thank you.

studiocircus:

to mav1094:
sorry, twice. for my bad english and because the solution I suggest doesn't work anyway.
how many stack docket you have running?

pauerbach08:

wow, where the fuck is matonga??

fireproof:

hey i have windows vista premium and i do not know how to make this work can you e-mail me the instuctions on how get this to work i like the idea and i want to use it please help my e-mail aaronforjesusnet@yahoo.com

dragonmage:

Great docklet! I only have 2 questions/suggestions.

I'm using this on my PC and portably on my flash drive. Is there any way to make Stacks use a relative path to the shortcuts folder?
I want to use it for some of the portable apps on my flash. I have a workaround using substitute drive, but it would be nice if the docklet could do it natively.

Is there any way to make a Stack display the Desktop no matter what user account I'm plugged into? The way it is now it looks in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Desktop. If I plug into another user account I get a blank Stack.

Again, Great Docklet, but it would be soooooo much better if I could use it portably.

pcuser32:

running XP sp3 docklet installs but
Can't get folder items to execute when i click on shortcut nothing happens except docktlet bounces up and down any one know of a fix for this ? tried rocketdock 1.3.4 to no avail

mav1094:

To studiocircus:

Hey sry for late reply, currently I'm using 3 stacks, one for one of my personal folders, one for downloads, and one for Office.

webdevguy:

This docklet is absolutely incredible! I'm not a Mac person, but the stack feature in Leopard looks very cool to me. It's great that I can have this on Vista! The visual effects are fantastic! Thank you very, very much!

mukayyet:

this is great. this is the bliss point of RocketDock. Thanks everybody those who worked on this docklet.

dragonmage:

also, somewhere I saw a Stacks Docklet registry key, what is that and is it necessary ?

Saint-Loup:

WOAW !!!! AWESOME !!! Nice job dude !

Shar***:

This makes using Rocket Dock perfect! It works perfectly for me without any problems on Vista Home Premium!!!! I am so jazzed, thank you ever so much. Now, if only I could figure out how to make Rocket Dock work when I try to get my Explorer.exe work with added Target so that it will open the 'tree', I'd be in 8th Heaven, instead of 7th with this Docket!!! Thank you again and again!!!
Shar***

net_blob:

The best docklet evar. But is it possible to adjust the time it takes for the icons in the folder to show?

Indisent:

I got it solved.

mav1094:

Indisent, how'd you solve it?

lflashl:

Is there a way to rename to link, i have one link to a server share and would like to have another name for it.

extraditado:

I make it work like this example: create a folder named 'GAMES' and create new direct accesses of your favorites .exe's games. Then, in rocketdock create a 'stack docklet' and bring the games folder recently created and... it's all.

Shar***:

I use Vista Home Premium. Here is what I did, it was so easy. I made folders on my C drive. I named the. One was Audio & Video, one Graphix, one Games, one Misc. So I have FOUR Docklets working at the same time. And into those folders I put the program icons that went to the programs. Then, just followed the regular directions for using Docklets and they all work perfectly!!! I can't thank you enough!!!

Shar***:

net_blob:
I don't know why yours takes a long time, do you have enough RAM? Cuz on mine, those icons spring up immediately and in one of the docklets I have over 40 icons. It only shows like 10 as I use that cool arc, but I just click on the top arrow and it shows all of them in a grid format, that is how I delete and add icons too. This is just too cool! So I'm wondering if your system is overloaded and can't handle the extra graphics or something....

Nebula:

FUCKEN AWESOME DOCKLET! However, the esthetic is broken once you click on a folder within the stack and find that it just opens a normal window. I'd the like the possibility of stacks within the stack or something like that.

Jeno:

Awesome!!!
shame about the shortcuts though :(

JohnCartwright:

This is what I did. I created a folder and named it 'Control Panel' (I think you can see where I'm going with this). I opened Start Menu, right clicked on a blank space, clicked 'Properties', clicked 'Customize' next to the Start Menu bit, went to Control Panel, ticked 'Display as a menu', applied. Once I did that, I opened the 'Control Panel' folder, opened Start Menu, hovered over Control Panel. Once the menu opened I dragged all the items into the Control Panel folder. Then, added new Stack Docklet in RocketDock. Opened up the Control Panel folder, and used a 'modified' Mac system prefrences icon (will post if wanted), and set to grid. Works perfectly.

Sorgen:

Can't get mine to work correctly, I set an icon, set the folder it should open, I click okay and then it crashes on me. I'm using Vista Home Premium

kierstin99:

i dont know how to get it to work i just extracted the file and now i dont know what to do

kierstin99:

please help me!! :(

ghost:

Best docklet out there! Thanks!

Tascas:

Anybodu here knows how to shrink or make smaller the size of icon in stackdock?

corpsious:

Does anyone know why, when I put a whole bunch of program shortcuts in a folder and then point this to the folder, 90% of them display with the default icon?

When I look at them in explorer they have the correct icons :/

me72:

DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!

EricDeBerg:

This docklet work really well!!

Just a little bug ... When you click on a stack when a stack is already open I get the new stack icons to begin to draw on the screen than they stop, waiting about the open one to close... an after the first continue openning ... This is just not enough fluid ... Could you correct this?

cyrus ghahremani:

insane, works beautifully, can't encounter bugs listed, it's pretty flawless for me.

only feature request i could possibly think of is a # of icons displayed limited for the grid system. i prefer it, for instance, for displaying icons of recent downloads in a huge downloads folder, but don't want it filling my entire screen when i click it.

henry:

hey how does this thing work i have it but the rocket wont go up

WilR:

Works great! The grid mode is a lot more useful than the fanout,:P

<3 this one.

manyuy:

gracias Wulfeman :)

zapper:

xp sp2: installed the dock (not on c:), added the stacks docklet, looks great, BUT getting the same clicky-no-worky probs that several others here have had. i haven't seen any answers so ... here goes, hoping someonez can help me out:
- add new stacks icon to the dock
- in new icon's properties i set the file to be my desktop (just for this example) by using C:\Documents and Settings\me\Desktop
- click on the stack icon and the grid pops up, so far so good
- if i click on a folder in the grid (obviously one from the desktop) then it opens no probs
- if i click on any other icon from the destop (an app for instance) NOTHING HAPPENS
- tried enabling permissions via the Security tab as suggested for the Vista peeps but still no joy
- tried creating a new folder from scratch, under the dock installation folder, add a shortcut from the desktop ... still no joy: click away, nada happening!
- so ...basically dead in the water. without stacks the dock is sure pretty but it ain't much use to me ... HELP!

americo neto:

Nossa mtu lindo mesmo gostei muito desse aplicativo..

amishsniper:

Very nice addition to a great program.
I'm sorry that so many people are unable to read the instructions to get it to work for them (maybe others could volunteer to translate instructions for other languages?!).
I hope that this is something that you continue to develop. Thanks.

zapper:

@amishsniper: Not sure if you were referring to my post when you said "people are unable to read the instructions" but I'd love to see instructions that specified how to solve the problem I've posted (dead .lnk files under stacks in winXP). Do you see such instructions here? If so feel free to point them out.

mav1094:

hey, if u haven't noticed yhis is the old version the updated version solves all these problems, the new version is here http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=46859&highlight=stacks [check the first page for the download, the newest pages discuss about the updates]

zapper:

@mav1094: many thanks, the new version is a whole different ball game, works great!

Darken:

Hey this is great, it really completes Rocketdock. I've just discovered docks and being playing around with them all day.

A few suggestions from what I've seen:

1. I found it odd on Objectdock that you can't drag a file into a folder on the dock, Rocketdock does allow you to but it *copies* not *moves* it which is annoying (no amount of ctrl, or alt combinations changes the function) as you then have to keep deleting the previous file, so it's great that Stacks lets you drop files in to a folder and actually moves them instead of copying. - One thing though the icon is still a plus sign indicating copying, you should change this to the normal drag drop symbol AND also add in the Ctrl+ for copy for an intuitive full environment.

--Actually I can't work out why this isn't standard behaviour for all docks, but as it stands most of my icons will be stacks docklets.

2. It would be really great if once opened in grid or line format, you could add the ability to drag the files around and add the normal right click functionality to every folder and file inside, this would be top wish, is this possible?

3. 3rd I'd like to be able to change the icon name with out having to change the folder name that it links too.

4. I found the way Rocketdock does icon changes to be way better than Objectdock. However both suffer from broken links to the icons if the icons are moved, is there a way to do an auto update to find the icon again like xp desktop does?

5. And oh yes, the ability to drag files&folders *into* a folder in the grid array. It's great the grid stays up when you move the mouse off but other wise the grids just for reading and opening as you can't do anything else with it.

I think that might make my desktop experience complete, or near so :)

skay:

Add a wonderful and beautiful
Thank you

fede05:

Thanks Matias !! Muy bacano ! but I have a problem: when I do restart on my vista computer, the stack icons loose the icon and folder path information... If you know how to fix, please let me know, thanks !

Torreco:

Please, please, please. Can all you be less lazy and read the comments? This 'great problems' (like this one) have been answered already. The docklet works perfect under XP and under Vista, if you can get it to work it's because of your idleness to read.
By the way, the docklet does open shortcuts: just drag them from your desktop to the docklet.

mav1094:

dudes, Matonga no longer looks at rocketdock forums, just go to http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/news.php nd complain or give ideas there

Weazul:

????????????????????????????????????
??HOW TO: FIX STACKS DOCKLET VISTA??
????????????????????????????????????
? RocketDock needs to run as
? with administrator rights to work
? right with the stacks docklet as
? far as I can tell. Go to where
? rocketdock is install [in your
? case probably c:\program files\
? rocketdock]. right click on
? rocketdock(.exe) and select properties.
? Click on the Compatibilty tab,
? (something you should learn a lot
? about with both vista and XP) and
? check the "Run this program as an

? and SHAZAM! stacklet settings will
? save.

? Hope nobody was too annoyed with the

Pjerooo:

This looks awesome...just one question:
is there a way to customize icons inside the docklet?
i created a folder with shortcuts to various apps and docklet reads them just fine, but i want to replace the default app icons with some of the ones i found on this website, how can i do that?
since custom icons are all png and i can't replace them using the default method : right click->properties->change icon....

On the other hand, nice docklet. I prefer the grid mode over the fan mode though. :)

shiftless:

Wonderful program! Thank you!

Evolantra:

Not being able to open Shortcuts is due to removing "Shortcut to.." text on shortcuts. A fix is to add empty entries in the registry. This will not bring back the "Shortcut to..." icon or text, so no worries on that annoyance.

Be very careful when doing this as modifying the wrong registry entry or deleting entries can cause serious computer issues.

Open/run regedit and add the following registry items:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile\

Add multi-string Value:
IsShortCut

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile\

Add multi-string Value:
IsShortCut

I hope this works for everyone experiencing the problem. It works great on all my machines.

dllklud:

when i restart my computer it goes to default
Can someone help me with this problem? thanks

Awesome docklet! works perfectly!

Dear Evolantra,
Thanks for your advice about registry of Shortcut.

I like it. It works well on my PC running Vista. Keeps the custom Folder Icons, too. Wish I could configure the color of the font in the second level, though.

duncandewar:

hey after i unzipped the file i dont know wat to do with the file can any one help me

nick23:

ok guys this is the solution:

1.- after downloading two files called: "StackDocklet.dll" and a folder "images"

2.- go to C:\programs files\RocketDock\Docklets

3.- in this folder called "docklets" create another and new folder with the same name of the "StackDocklet" but without ".dll"

4.- in the new folder called "StackDocklet" put the two files that you downloaded ("StackDocklet.dll" and a folder "images")

5.- then close the rocketdock and open it again

6.- Righ click on dock and choose "Add Item" and then you`ll see "Stack Docklet", click on it and there you are... enjoy it

bye bye

Thanks so much.

it's very useful for me !!!

davidtorrento:

hey am how to u put it on ur rocket dock if any1 knows please tell me email me at david_torrento@yahoo.com please . thank you

erics:

Can you fix it to allow the use of the context menu while the contents of selected folder are shown? (ei. "open with", "send to", etc?)

iismartyo:

how do i download?

mavrev:

Alright, since no one else can figure this out here's how you make this work on Vista.

Download, install like any docklet. Go to your RocketDock installation folder, under prog. files, and create a settings.ini file. Leave it blank. Go to the RocketDock settings and select save settings in settings.ini. Exit RocketDock and go to the prog. files directory. Select properties for the RocketDock installation folder and go to security. Click 'edit', and then 'add'. Type your username, do 'check names'. Then check full control for your user only, don't mess with the others. Close all that stuff. Start RocketDock. Right click the stacks docklet and do icon settings. Select your stacks folder, I suggest doing user/you/stack so its easy to find, and then change whatever other settings you want. Save, close. Make sure it loads your stack when you click the docklet and then exit RocketDock. Start it again and confirm it works.

KRAKEN:

I LOVE ROCKETDOCK AND UBERICON THNAKS FOR THE APPS

open0source:

SOOO useful, you did a great job. One tiny problem I have with it is that if you have text labels on your icons, it sometimes gets in the way of the stack's links. Screenshot here: http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj149/open0source/StacksProblem.jpg This also happens when the dock is on the top or bottom, but it only runs into the text of your stack items. Putting the stack's translucent box on top of the label would work fine (though turning off labels while the stack is open would be the best option).

wolfgrrl:

Is there a way to have subfolders in the main dock folder that will also be stackable? Like a folder heirarchy?

bathanf:

hey for guys who have vista and kept loosing their settings when their computer restarts or rocketdock closed and opened again..do not install rocketdock in your program files folder..instead install it somewhere else..for instance my documents..hope this helps..comment if it does..thanks:)

bathanf:

update to my last comment....install the rocketdock folder to my documents folder..go to dock settings for rocketdock..go to general settings..tick the box that says save settings something into single .ini file.

reason for not saving rocketdock folder into program files when using vista is that vista got UAC which does not allow automatic saving of rocketdock settings inside program files. so everytime rocketdock restarts it looses the settings you arranged because it didn't allow the program to save settins...hope it hleps.pls comment if this helps..thanks

@bathanf has a very good point, the rest of the solutions pasted on here are sick and need to go hack their registry more

this is getting anoying it is hard to do..........could someone help me...........

cruzero00:

ha this works fine on my vista

bathanf:

yeddy92 wat is the prob? tell me wats wrong n ill try help u out..

basically just install the rocketdock firts into ur my documents for better results..then download this stack docklet..open the zip with winrar or winzip grab the folder inside to ur documents/rocketdock/docklets and its finish....

run rocketdock if not yet running..right click on settings then click dock settings.go to general settings and click save settings into a single .ini file and click ok..

for the stack docklet right click on the rocketdock and choose add and choose on the bottom stack docklet

after choosing stack docklet you will see a white icon with a down arrow..right click on that icon and choose icon settings..click path and browse for the file you want to add to the dock..nowmally wat i do is make a folder on documents/rocketdock and name the folder path..then u make another folder then u put the shorcuts you want to put inside..this is because if u drag and drop an icon to the the dock and the icon is from the desktop and u delete the icon on the desktop the icon on the dock will not work.

do the settings for the stack icon on the dock with icon settings and give it an icon dat u lyk...
for downloade icons.ol u have to do is copy and paste it to the location of your rocketdock folder and dats it..

hope this helps...

bathanf:

update...for the icons open the icon folder that u downloaded and copy and paste it to rocketdock/icon...
