but why don't you create a version who is reversed?!
For the users who want to use their dock on top of the screen...

I have found a way to make it so that the center is no longer transparent, but it involves my icons having a two inch space between them and the dock.

It seems that it is not projecting the middle when placed to the top or sides... Possible to fix as I prefer mine to be on top? The wings are shown, but the center is transparent.

Devil have you tried the edge offset in the dock settings. That will bring the bar down from the top. You can adjust the size of your icons to bring it in from the sides a little. Hope this helps.
