Note: you'll first need to download stacks docklet(which is a must have):
http://rocketdock.com/addon/1791/download
Instructions:
Download my file and extract it to your rocket dock folder(preferably C:\Program Files\RocketDock or else you'll have to do a bit of work by manually changing all icons for the shortcuts)
add a new stack that opens the folder C:\Program Files\RocketDock\ShutDown and change its icon to shutdown.png(or any other you like)
Not very good but it looks nice and is pretty handy and also solves the problem of accidental shutting off which occurs if you use an icon for direct shutdown.
An alternate icon instead of the round red button:

I've done your steps and it works, it's perfect, thanks alot 5/5 ;)
Thanks but I figured out a work around. I just right clicked on each of the actions and selected properties and changed the icons. The long way around but it works. Thanks for your quick reply
D3NNIS,
Download file and open it. Extract both the folders to C:\Program Files\RocketDock and the png file to C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Icons.
Now add a stack to your dock and make it open C:\Program Files\RocketDock\ShutDown. Change the icon (you can use this one:http://rocketdock.com/addon/icons/18108)and its done..!!!!
Thanks!!!!
