Ahhh i see, i had tried it that way and used PS to convert them to Gif and Jpeg but that didn't work...so it's an ICO file i need to convert it to...Bless ya Scrambler your a star, Thank You

The icons of the items in the stack are changed via windows.
Go to the folder that includes the shortcuts, right click on them, select properties, then change icons. You can only use .ICO files for windows icons, so if you want to use personal png icons, you will have to convert them to Ico first.
There is a plugin for Photoshop that will let you save as Ico from Photoshop.
Hi guy's, First a big thanks to Kaylanafbb for this Docklet, it's well smart, secondly can anybody tell me how to change the icon's within the stack, i've made a folder and tried to change the icon's within that folder but it wont work that way...is there another way to change them, thanks in advance

A final small cosmetic suggection:
HAve a transparency slider setting for the bacground of the stack when using grid, so we can make it match the skin better.
Or even better handle the stack background of the grid mode with an image we can modify to fine tune the style of it
I also love the reflection option !
One quirk, when placing the dock at the top, because evrything is inverted (icons move down instead of up when Hovering), the reflection moves out of the reflective support.
I thoughts of two ways to aoid ths problem.
1) Add an option so that when the Doc is at the Top, Icons still move up when Hovering instead of down.
2) Or make the reflection fade away instead of the clear cut we have now, so we can extend the reflective support without the reflection looking cut off when then icon is at rest.
I especially like your Leopard skin with the stack, but I really want my dock to be at the Top of the screen :)
Thanks again for the great work!
Great and essential complementary tools for RocketDock.
A few suggestions for future release :)
It would be nice to have the stack open when we mouse over the icon, instead of having to click (or at least make it an option). The goal of the dock is to reach our destination as easly as possible, so when we mouse over the icon, the stack should open automatically so we can select in one click instead of two. Idealy you want a delay setting to set how long you need to stay over before it opens up the stack.
thanks for a GREAT AdOn
oh wait never mind that happens when you enable icon reflection..anyway this awesome!
also does anyone know to make the docklets bigger? they seem so small
This is how I got it to work on Windows Vista 32 bit. Before using the installer it crashed on me but now it works :)
1) Download it from HERE: (I found this link at the aqua soft forums, it Doesn't have the installer)
http://narod.ru/disk/14924064000/StackDocklet2.0.zip.html
2) Extract the zip archive
3) Close rocketdock
4) Move 'StackLib.dll' to where you installed rocketdock (in the rocketdock folder, usually in ProgramFiles or ProgramFiles (x86) for 64 bit users (unless if you chose a different location)
5) now move the 'StackDocklet2.0' folder to your docklets folder (located where you installed rocketdock)
6) right click on rocketdock in the start menu or another location that has the rocketdock application to run it. Right click on it and click 'Run as Administrator'
7) Now it should be working! Also I would do this too-> Right click on the folder where you installed rocketdock and click properties.
8) Under the security tab, there should be a list of groups/users. On the one that says 'Users(your-name)\Users', below there should be a list of permissions for all users. Tick 'Full Control', click apply and OK. You can now add stack docklets (v2) by right clicking on your dock, select 'Add Item', then click Stack Docket 2.0
I think this should work the same with Windows 7. Don't use the installer if you have vista/7 because it will crash after restart.
Cheers, I hope this helped anyone
