A Docklet that displays download and upload speed with meters and has a Reflection on the dock...

Update-clicking the docklet now opens:network connections
Also updated the instructions

Install: unzip into your docklet folder, rightclick on the dock/add SysStats.
rightclick the question mark icon that appeared on the dock and load "Reflective Net Orb.ini" from the config folder.
You will have to configure maximum download and upload speeds
(simple instructions in the included text file)

Requires SysStats to be pre-installed.

in case anyone having problems to configure the docklet, i updated the text file with the instructions. if you cannot make it work, download the docklet again and follow the instructions.

ok i got a question when i download sysstats and extract all the files ??.. and when i download Reflective Net Orb do i extract all the files in the docklet folder that comes with sysstats ??? im not following the directions all that well im lost lol. i just cant seem to figure this one out alittle help please .... if you want u can email me at XXXkrayzie_Bonz_XXX@yahoo.com or send me a message on here asap please....

i cant get the orb to work. i have followed you instructions in the manual that came with it but i get -0 for upload and -0 for download and it doesnt change. i am on vista if that makes any difference

nice to hear.. well, that's all my docklets for now. i'll try to think about more ideas in the future but docklets are quite hard to come with new ideas,much have been done already.. anyway, i've also made some dock skins and animated icons.

the meter seems to work half:the pop up works just fine, the upload the same but the download meter doesn't.i think there might be some mistake to the Configure-/download-/netw int-/...
any idea?

thanx for the details dirent. i still don't see what causes the problem. normally it should work on your setup.
i would suggest starting from the beginning with installing sysstats. make sure you unzip it directly into ROCKETDOCK folder.
then make sure u unzip the docklet u like to use to the DOCKLETS folder(try one sysstats docklet at a time to avoid conflicts).
once u get the docklet running and setup properly then rightclick on it and choose "save" and then "update".
now u can cross your fingers and restart windows...
sorry i don't know much about vista but i know there are some issues with applications right to modify all kinds of parameters so make sure rocketdock and the folders its located in have all the rights to read and write(run rocketdock as administrator exc).
maybe even turn off your antivirus temporarely if u feel brave enough..
if still no luck,please look for answers in the sysstats homepage and post a support request to the author "judge".
he should be the most capable to figure out why sysstats doesn't function properly on your setup.
hope it helps and u can use sysstats docklets

Rocketdock ver: 1,3,5
OS: Vista Ultimate SP1.
sysstats ver: 2.5.11
While the Rockets Dock properly work with Orbs when i try restart the Dock, i receive an error message:
"The Rockets Dock stop the working Windows try to find why" or something like that.

ok dirent, now i understand the problem, so it works untill u restart your computer. it's first time i hear about this problem.
maybe it can help if u save the docklets(before restarting the computer). i would suggest also trying to restart rocketdock while the docklets are working and see what happens(let me know).
anyway,what operating system you're using(&service pack)? is your rocketdock/sysstats updated to last version?
maybe u can find some answers in the sysstats homepage(or post a support request also there). seems like it's about sysstats not working properly(with windows i guess)
anyway,let me know about your windows/sysstats/rocketdock versions and we continue from there..

Ok,
First off all thank you for your answer.
i try describe in detail.
Every instructions on top in your original post done. Now everything is ok. I see everything what i want, on the dock in Reflective Net and Cpu orb icons. After...
And i restart my computer. After restart, i see two blue question mark on the dock. now i am loading again from sysstats/config folder. But nothing change. i still see blue question marks. And rightclick again to one of blue q. mark and choose Configure...
In the opening menu, i choose Meters tab. And i see Meters tab is empty. No upload no download and Glow sections on right.
