This docklet displays the cpu and memory usage statistics in a sleak yet clean interface. In order to install, make sure to first have installed Sysstats since the program does make use of this addon. You can search for the docklet Sysstats either by searching google or by searching wincustomize.com.
Feel free to send me comments, suggestions, or even any background images you made that you thought might be a better replacement than the one currently used. Contact me at CpuOrb@gmail.com.
Enjoy!

Okay, I installed it fine, tweaked the majority of how I wanted it to look, then realized it didn't know what my processor was doing. I go to:
Right click > "meters" > "CPU" > "Configure" > "Configure"
Like we were told, but in "Performance Object" there is nothing but numbers in this drop-down box. There are no "Counters" either. Same for some other Docklets I get such as "Reflective NET orb" and "Reflective CPU Orb". What's going on here?
Also, the RAM part is displaying the RAM usage wrong. I have it set to use "1 Million" for the scale under "ActualRAM" and the metric as "Used". I open up Task Manager and it says I am using 384MB of RAM but your Docklet says 572MB.
at last!!!
i got it
it finally work
hhaha
thanks to jadellll

where is the archive dll?¿?¿¿?¿??¿??¿?¿

1 problem my memory meter is fine but cpu is reADING -1 please answer asap ................. good instructions thx.
OK I found it...
in order to get sysstats to work on Vista all you need to do is...
quit rocketdock
go to C\programfiles\rocketdock\
right click on rocketdock.exe
select properties
select compatibility tab
check run as administrator
apply
.............................................
right click compresses sysstat folder
extract to C\programfiles\rocketdock (the right files and folder will go to the right places without you doing anything)
...................................................
restart rocketdock
right click space on dock
select sysstats, question mark should appear in dock and rocketdock should remain stable no crashes)
from there you can follow the steps described for loading this docklet
so will they ever fix the bugs in systats so that it works with Viusta...or does anyone know who to install sysstats on Vista so it doesn't crash Rocketdock
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS THAT MADE IT WORK:
----------------------------------------
1. Istall SysStats:
1.1 get the Ststats zip file from http://sysstats.jools.net/Code/download.php - (I downloaded version: SysStats2.5.11.zip)
1.2 Extract to your RocketDock installation Folder (Default is "C:\Program Files\RocketDock") - NOT to the doclets folder
Congratulations you now should see "SysStats" in you "Add Item..." menu
2. Obtain and extract the CPU ORB:
2.1 extract the CPU Orb zip file to your doclets folder ("C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Docklets")
3. Install the CPU ORB Docklet
3.1 On the RocketDock menu rightClick -> Add Item... -> SysStats: A Question Mark should appear on your dock
3.2 RightClick the Question Mark -> Load...
3.3 In the file chooser dialog that opens select the "Cpu Orb" from "C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Docklets\SysStats\configs"
And voila (pardon my french)
to recreat:copy the download folder under the root.
DUDE. I got to the part where the blue question mark appears on the rocketdock. then i clicked it and rocket dock stopped working. Then i reopened it and tried to right click it. It dosent right click. THEN, i try to open rocket dock and it says would you like to reset to defult shortcuts... and after a while i kept trying to restart it, but it didnt work so i just pressed ok and now all my stuff is gone.. is there anyway to restore to before? or do i have to put everything back on.
inside one of the folders, like cpuorb, is another folder with the appropriate name. Basically, anything from the two 'applications' with a folder called dockets, drag the CONTENTS of that folder into your docklets folders (C:\...)
The systats folder you get should contain what you need to put where I stated.
im still having a little bit of trouble. Ive gotten systats installed and i download the orb. When i extract the cpu orb zip, i get another systats folder and not the "cpu orb" folder mentioned below. I tried moving it over anyways to see what happens but it asks me to replace the folder, which im guessing you don't. Am i doing something wrong or just tarding out?
